This role is an integral part of the PCB’s financial operations, which mainly covers budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow management, taxation, and regulatory compliance. It provides support to the CFO in preparing strategic financial planning, risk management, audits, investment activities and other day to day financial matters, while ensuring efficient financial systems and controls. As part the finance team this role provides financial insights to support organizational decision-making and strategic objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the CFO in managing the day to day operations of the PCB’s Finance department.
• Prepare periodic financial statements, financial reports for presentations to stakeholders, including management, boards of directors, and external parties.
• Develop and manage the PCB’s annual budget and forecasts and monitor performance against budget targets through variance analysis.
• Supervise corporate & individual tax related matters and ensure timely filing of tax returns.
• Update, develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
• Manage investment strategies according to the board’s approved policies.
• Develop and implement financial plans, feasibility studies to support the board’s strategic goals.
• Analyze financial performance of the board and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Oversee the organization’s cash flow and liquidity, including managing bank relationships and negotiate banking arrangements.
• Evaluate and improve the organization’s financial management systems and processes, including financial software and analysis tools.
• Identify and evaluate financial risks, and implement strategies to mitigate or manage them.
